It is sincerely a pleasure receiving you and your guidance. The manner which you explain articulate the Dharma and associated topics directing our attention is necessary and of great importance to us all.
I am mindful of this human rebirth and encouraged by this Dharma, as I realize my aims can be achieved with such. My views of this life constantly change and have become more open, expansive, stepping off a narrow path of perception and becoming comfortable with the revealing of a natural face.
The sense of self I was strongly attached to as a younger adult no longer exists and the fact I can express this indicates the Dharma light has eradicated the ignorance that had me bound in such illusion.
The teachings tell us “benefit us now and in future lives depends on our practicing this very Dharma, the stages of the path to enlightenment.” Venerable, you present these instructions in way of us to apply them in a practical manner and properly practiced. We really appreciate for your visits and teaching at Desert Centinela Bodhisattva Sangha (DCBS). We also are thankful for your efforts to inspire us to practice meditation in the institution. I personally practice my meditation every morning and we have a weekly get together at chapel with Sangha. We try our best to apply Dharma and meditation in our daily life.
The mind is not easily tamed and as a consequence will be easily blown around with whatever thoughts, images, and feelings arise as well as sounds and other sensory influences around us. Through the Dharma and your teaching it helps us to less run after our sensory.
Again thank you and sister Shirley for your constant concern and compassion towards the brother in different institutions. I know you inspire our mind to be more conscious of our intentions, and generate our Bodhicitta.
I have been fortunate to learn, listen and practice with few teachers over the past 15 years, especially under you, Master Hueiguang and Shirley. I sincerely hope all of you are aware of this gratitude and a witness to this plant and it’s fruits..
