Nobody wants to die, but we all will at some point. Hospice is a place designed to give support care to people in their final phase of a terminal illness and focus on comfort and quality of life. Hospice care provides medical care, IBS’ hospice program provides emotional support and spiritual resources to both the patients and family members. Cultivating positive, happy virtuous state of mind, practicing to prepare for death is a Buddhist’s life. Illness produces an awareness of death which brings up spiritual issues to work through. IBS’ hospice program concentrate on listening and sharing the meaning of life. Offer unconditional love and compassion. We also help the family member to prepare themselves how to deal with the loss of the loved one when the time arrives.
